Aquarius has been a Star Wars fan since 1977. When she isn't writing, three cats and a full-time job as a hairdresser keep her busy. Egyptology, crime drama, and gardening are also among her interests.
GEMINI: Technical support, artist, co-editor
Gemini has been a Star Wars fan since 1977. She keeps herself busy with her dog, her cats, going to school to learn Spanish, and working too hard in general. In addition to drawing, Gemini enjoys working in textile arts and teaching classes.
JADESFIREMJ: Computer graphics guru, artist
JadesFireMJ has been a member of Nerfherder's Playground and a friend to Some Rescue for what seems like forever now. Jades enjoys modeling, skating, drawing and creating computer graphics. All graphics here at Some Rescue are made by her, unless otherwise noted.
THIS IS SOME RESCUE: Ideas keep evolving
Aquarius started Some Rescue with the idea of presenting her fiction as an alternative to the Star Wars Expanded Universe. Han and Leia have always been her favorite characters, and she found their treatment in profic to be lacking and disappointing. Some Rescue began as a way to reach out to other fans who felt the same way and give them the "happily ever after" that Han and Leia deserve.
Some Rescue has grown since then. Instead of featuring only the fiction of Aquarius and art of Gemini, other authors and artists are being featured here. The mission is still the same: to reach out to other Han and Leia fans and bring them *quality* stories and artwork, and to ensure that the Han and Leia adventure continues.
