The Corellian Embassy first went online in July of 1998, and was a project shared by Carolyn Golledge and Martha Wilson. Their mission was to build a comprehensive internet archive of fan fiction that had previously been published in fanzines, much of which hadn't been seen for years since its publication.
In June of 2006, The Corellian Embassy was adopted by Aquarius (who brought you This Is Some Rescue), with the technical and graphics assistance of Gemini and the computer graphics beautification of Valerie Vancollie. The beta version of the new Embassy launched in January of 2007. The address, decor, and management have changed, but the mission is still the same: to continue to bring Star Wars fans everywhere a comprehensive library of Han Solo themed material previously available only in zines.
